VESTUR는 한국 홍대 인디씬에서 활동했던 ‘더 플라스틱 데이’와 ‘몸과 마음’의 베이시스트 서호성, ‘아폴로18’의 드러머 이상윤, 그리고 비주얼 아티스트 Plastur가 함께하는 오디오비주얼 그룹입니다. VESTUR는 일렉트로닉 음악을 기반으로 한 밴드 퍼포먼스에 실시간 반응하는 이미지를 더해 연주자와 관객이 함께 몰입할 수 있는 다감각적인 경험을 추구합니다. 치밀한 계산과 연결성을 바탕으로 한 움직임에 불확실성을 가미한 실시간 조작과 렌더링, 아날로그적 연주와 디지털을 조합한 음악을 통해 예측할 수 없는 독창적인 세계를 창조하는 VESTUR의 시청각 시계가 많은 이들에게 신선한 자극으로 다가가길 기대합니다.

VESTUR is an audiovisual collective comprising by Seo Ho-seong, the former bassist of ‘The Plastic Day’ and ‘Body and Mind,’ Lee Sang-yoon, the former drummer of ‘Apollo18,’ and visual artist Plastur. Originating from the vibrant indie music scene of Hongdae, South Korea, VESTUR pursues immersive, multisensory experiences that combine electronic music with real-time visual responses. VESTUR blends precise calculation and interconnectivity with elements of uncertainty, employing live manipulation and rendering techniques. By fusing analogue performance with digital elements, they create an unpredictable and original audiovisual world.
